Studio location

The Canberra Dance Theatre studio is located on the corner of Kingsley Street and Barry Drive, Canberra City Google Maps. Please read this important notice about new parking regulations at CDT.

Parking is available behind the studio and is free on weekends and after 5.30 pm on week nights.

Parking is also available across Barry Drive and in the City West multi-storey car park (pay parking).

For daytime classes during business hours, please allow sufficient time to find parking – adjacent construction work is making parking very scarce.

Public transport is also located close by with a five minute walk from the City Bus Interchange on East Row, in the city centre.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
There is a small parking bay at the rear of the ROCKS complex (which includes CDT, the ANU food Co-op, and Expressive Art Therapy) which CDT members can use when visiting the studio during business hours when it can be harder to get a park in the main paid parking area. The ROCKS parking bay is only open during the ANU Food Co-op's opening hours which are listed below. The ROCKS car park is locked before 10am to prevent city workers and ANU students using these spaces as all-day car parks (they are intended to be short term parking for people going to ROCKS businesses but the signage is not clear).

If you happen to find your car locked in the parking bay after hours, please speak to your teacher or class administrator who will have access to the lock combinations from the CDT office. It is generally easy to find a park in the main car park after 5pm which is when most CDT classes occur. If you do need to unlock the barrier to get your vehicle out, please ensure the barrier is left properly secured.

ANU Food Co-op's opening hours:
closed Monday but car park usually open 12 - 5pm while deliveries are received
Tuesday 10am - 7pm
Wednesday 10am - 5pm
Thursday 10am - 7pm
Friday 10am - 7pm
Saturday 10am - 4pm
Sunday 10am - 4pm
