Q: Who are the classes for?
- anyone over 15 years of age;
- anyone who enjoys dance and movement;
- dancers wishing to develop further skills, maintain technique and fitness through technique classes;
- dance artists, including performers, teachers, choreographers and community dance practitioners;
- people interested in being involved CDT performance opportunities;
- actors, musicians, visual artists, circus performers, callisthenics and gymnastic competitors.
Q: How do I enrol in a class?
A: After reading the weekly class timetable, choose your preferred class and note day and time. Turn up at the CDT Studio 10 - 15 minutes before class commences in order to register. There is no need to book by phone. Please provide your name, contact phone number, and class money to the Class Administrator who will register you for your selected class.
If you have any injuries/condition, which may be relevant, please inform your tutor before class commences.
You may also wish to bring a bottle of water to sip throughout the class.
Q: How can I take advantage of CDT's trial offer?
A: If you are in your first week with CDT you may like to take advantage of our trial week offer. This allows you to pay for your first class and try any other class during that week for free.
Q: When do I need to pay the annual membership fee?
A: If you are attending more than 3 classes during a calendar year, you will need to pay an annual membership fee. This is $15 per year, or $10 if you join after June each year.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear comfortable clothing that you can bend and stretch Bare feet or socks are suitable for most classes.
If unsure about clothing/footwear please discuss with your teacher before class. For most classes, bare feet and/or socks are appropriate.
